Chapter One

You don't need a diagnosis to start here

People come to The Tuesday Chapter for different reasons:

You feel anxious, low, or persistently down, and it’s starting to affect daily life.

You’re managing fine on paper, but something still feels stuck.

A difficult experience is still affecting you, even though it happened a while ago.

Work pressure has started to follow you home, and you’re not switching off.

CHAPTER TWO

Three ways we can help

Therapy

Evidence-based support for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout and trauma, built around Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Feeling stuck

For when you’re not in crisis, but something feels stuck — career pressure, life transitions, or knowing what to do but not doing it.

Workshops and training

Small-group workshops on managing anxiety, low mood and building coping strategies — for individuals and for workplaces.

Why The Tuesday Chapter

An ordinary day can hold something significant

Monday can carry apprehension, dread, and the uncertainty of whether you will cope. Tuesday represents something tangible. You have come through the day you were worried about.

That does not mean it was easy, or that everything is resolved. But it is evidence — of what you navigated, what helped, and what you are capable of next.
Confidence does not always arrive before we act. Sometimes it grows through recognising what we have already managed.

CHAPTER THREE

Stephen Knox

The Tuesday Chapter was founded by Stephen Knox, who trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy after a background in emergency services and leadership. He’s a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works in a trauma-informed way.
